Founded in 1814 by Emanuel Pioté in Vienna, Köchert became Imperial and Royal Austrian Court Jewelers by 1832. Their creations adorned royalty, most notably the luminous diamond star hair ornaments worn by Empress Elisabeth “Sisi.”
